Today is a new day for Republicans. Richmond is a great place to live, and we’re excited about our opportunities to make our community even better.
The Richmond Republican Committee is a diverse group with a variety of views on the issues of the day.
What we have in common is our desire to improve our schools, make our streets safer, and create opportunities for everyone in Richmond. We look for ways to make our city government open, honest and clean. We support lower taxes, less government spending and personal responsibility.

Richmond Republican Committee
Cortland Putbrese serves as Senior Counsel in the Richmond office of Morison Ansa Holden Assuncao & Prough, LLP, a San Francisco Bay area law firm. He also serves on the Republican Party of Virginia's State Central Committee, the party's governing body. In addition, Cortland is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Richmond School of Law and a member of the Lewis F. Powell, Jr. American Inn of Court. He lives in historic Church Hill near downtown Richmond.
