The Richmond Republican Party is a diverse group with a variety of views on the issues of the day. What we have in common is our desire to improve our schools, make our streets safer, and create opportunities for everyone in Richmond. We look for ways to make our city government open, honest and clean. We support lower taxes, less government spending and personal responsibility.

Cortland Putbrese serves as Senior Counsel in the Richmond office of Morison Ansa Holden Assuncao & Prough, LLP, a San Francisco Bay area law firm. He is also an elected representative to the Republican Party of Virginia's State Central Committee, the party's governing body. In addition, Cortland is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Richmond School of Law. He lives in historic Church Hill near downtown Richmond.
